Episode 4 - The Gathering of the Tribe

This episode features not only an interview with the amazing author, Charles Eisenstein, but also a reading of his story, "The Gathering of the Tribe", read by the author himself.

Charles writes exclusively on the collective predicament facing modern humans from a perspective of re-integration and healing. His work is a beacon of light in a vast cultural darkness that has enveloped our species and enabled us to bring ourselves to a point of potentially catastrophic failure.

Enjoy this one with a friend.

Episode 3 - The Dynamic Helpers

This episode features an interview with Rosa Zubizarreta on Dynamic Facilitation.

From the Dynamic Facilitation website:

"The dynamic facilitator establishes a 'zone' of thinking and talking known as 'Choice-Creating' where shifts and breakthroughs are normal. It is like when people face a collective challenge and pull together to creatively overcome it. Sometimes these shifts take the form of new ideas, other times they bring a new sense of what the 'real problem' is, and other times there is a change of heart."

Episode 2 - The Permablitz of Oz

Due to my residency in "the sticks", our internet goes out sometimes during bad weather, so sorry for the late show!

This episode's feature is an interview with the organizer of the Permablitz movement, Adam Grubb. Adam has a history in Peak Oil, helping to start the Energy Bulletin newssite, and permaculture is now his forte.

Permablitz helps bring a more green approach to edible gardening to people's homes using permaculture design practices and a social gathering/learning expo all in one!

Remember that Permaculture is a contraction of both Permanent Culture, and Permanent Agriculture. Two very key ideas.

Enjoy!

Episode 1 - Initiating Transition

This is the first in a series of podcasts dealing with ideas, concepts, and most importantly, practical applications meant to help us transition into a more sustainable, resilient society.

I interview Les Squires, the webmaster of the Transition US online network. Les is a main contact point for all those interested in getting involved in the United States arm of the Transition Town Initiative. Get inspired!

For this first episode, there is a lot more of myself talking than we'll normally have, though I felt it necessary for this introductory episode in order to help you, the audience, get to know me as well as to help you gain an understanding of what I intend to do with this show.
